The official NBA application can be summarized as high gloss, well designed and easy to use. The app can be used to read top league stories, videos as well as Twitter feeds. Pretty much the basics can be accessed including regular season standings, team schedules as well as team and individual player statistics. Fantasy has a bigger place in the app as fantasy leagues have become more important the last few years. You can also read up on the most important year round dates for the league whether it be the regular season, playoffs, draft, combine, summer league and more. If you are only interested in reading about one team instead of the league you have the option of narrowing your concern to your favorite team or just a team you want to follow. This is reflected in the alerts you can set as you set them for not just team start times, end times and final scores but individual player statistics. The app comes in handy as a way to watch NBA league pass, listen to NBA league pass audio and view classic games. The app comes through in the visuals as well with such features as the screen wide NBA Playoff bracket which is continually updated to tell you all teams involved, series markers, and overall conference standings. This app has something for everybody whether it be casual fans, diehard fans, junkies, fantasy nerds or those just interested in their favorite team or player.

the new update broke the app and it crashes every time I try to load it .... And I use this app a lot

Still no picture in picture after all this time is disappointing, iOS 9 has been out for some time now. Would also like to see split screen and slide over for iPads

After the update now I cant even open nba app... Another app I cant open, before the update it would let me open it all the time and the schedule never been updated to date at all

Great app until the last update, now that the playoffs are on there is no information what so ever...worst update ever!!!

So you claim to have fixed Bugs on the latest update , but still you not fixed anything

Continually crashes!

A lot wont even make it past the first screen. uninstalled it reinstalled it and same thing crashes crashes crashes. Worked perfectly until the most recent update.

It crashes constantly on launch, I cant even open the app with this new update. Im on a iPhone 5s with the latest operating system.

The current version of the app crashes at the splash screen every time on iPhone 6S.

The app did an update this morning 4/21/16 now I cant open it. It starts to open then closes itself. Go back to the app prior to the update or fix the update.

As others have said, this app is a piece of useless trash. After the playoff update, the app instantly crashes to desktop. This garbage app is a disgrace to the NBA! Fix it!
